We went to Porto Alegre for the weekend to see Cat Power perform where Moises use to work as event manager. Moises showed me around the city, where his family used to live. They have an amazing huge park and in the middle its like a little zoo with monkeys and parrots and other exotic birds. There is also a great market there with lots of art and handmade crafts. The native Indians come there and sell there baskets that they weave and the little indian girls sing. The city is huge! There's heaps of fantastic graffiti art, museums, bars and cafes, and the live music scene is great.
